What we store and how you control third-party players.

Essential storage
We store your language choice in the essential djcard_locale cookie (prefixed __Host- on HTTPS) for up to one year. Language versions share your account and profile; sign-in sessions and cookie preferences apply separately to each domain. The sign-in cookie lasts up to 30 days and is HttpOnly and SameSite=Lax, with Secure on HTTPS. For Google sign-in, we also use essential HttpOnly cookies djcard_google_flow and djcard_google_enroll (prefixed __Host- on HTTPS) for up to 10 minutes. These bind sign-in to this browser and protect registration completion. The djove_preferences cookie stores your analytics choice for 180 days. The legacy local value djove_cookie_info_seen no longer controls the banner display. The legacy djove_consent cookie no longer controls player loading.
External players
YouTube, Spotify, SoundCloud and Mixcloud load directly when the relevant player is displayed, without prior confirmation in the cookie banner. The provider may therefore receive connection data and use cookies or similar technologies. YouTube uses privacy-enhanced mode; this does not guarantee the absence of cookies.
Your choice
Allow enables optional statistics and configured advertising measurement; Reject leaves them off. Settings lets you adjust individual categories. Your choice is stored in the djove_preferences cookie for 180 days. You can change it at any time through Cookie settings in the footer. This setting does not control external players. You can manage third-party cookies in your browser.
Media providers
We use YouTube in youtube-nocookie.com mode, Spotify, SoundCloud and Mixcloud. YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode limits personalisation but does not guarantee that no data is processed after playback starts. The purposes and storage periods used by the providers are governed by their current policies.
Analytics
Our PRO analytics are recorded only after permission in the cookie banner; consent is stored in the djove_preferences cookie. They use aggregate events and derived connection identifiers. Details are in the privacy policy. Google Analytics 4 measures traffic only after statistics are enabled. We do not load its tag or cookies before consent. Google Ads is not currently active. We send Analytics the page URL without parameters and the visit source only at domain level; we do not send form content or the sign-in email. Measurement in Studio and administration is disabled. The _ga cookies distinguish visits and may persist for up to two years. You can withdraw consent at any time in Cookie settings.
